21ST JUNE – SUMMER SOLSTICE FESTIVITY IN TURAIDA MUSUM RESERVE
Turaida Museum Reserve with its unique vicinity is the right place to celebrate the most beautiful and popular Latvian festivity – Summer solstice. 30TH JUNE TO 4TH JULY – VIII KREMERATA BALTICA FESTIVAL IN THE CONCERT HALL “BALTAIS FLÎĚELIS” (WHITE GRAND PIANO)
Annual concert by Grammy winning orchestra “Kremerata Baltica” directed by Gidons Krçmers has become integral music event in Sigulda. With no exception world famous violinist invites everyone to experience unique music feast performed by the Baltic new musicians.
23RD JULY – BLUES FESTIVITY IN SIGULDA
Blues unify lasting values and lifestyle. It’s the blues known in the world that lives in Sigulda and opposite. Sigulda owns its Grand Blues Festivity held under the clear sky on open-air stage surrounded by spectacular stone walls, wild nature and sandstone caves. It’s nothing but blues, inspiration and harmony.
30TH TO 31ST JULY – XIX OPERA MUSIC FESTIVAL
Since the 1993 Sigulda Opera Music Festival host on Sigulda open-air stage has become an integral part of culture life of Latvia. Annually Latvian music luminaries and opera stars from abroad perform in Sigulda and this summer a special revival has been prepared – P. Tschaikowsky “Eugene Onegin” with world admitted opera diva Maija Kovaďevska – impersonate leader.
