Tour de LatEst marathon and cycling opportunities in Vidzeme will be presented in Balttour 2010
From 5th till 7th of February in International Exhibition Center in Kipsala there will be 17th international tourism market Balttour 2010 that traditionally serves as a guide to its attendants in choosing their travel destinations.
In exhibitions 175 stands will be presented 23 countries.
In exhibition will be presented Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, Russia, Cyprus, Germany, Spain, Georgia, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Malta, Norway, Malaysia, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, USA.
Exposition of Balttour 2010 will be divided into two thematic parts one part will present the offer of Latvian regions and towns, the other will consist of international and national stands, tourism operators, hotels, tourism organizations, agencies, transport service and finance companies that offer their services to attendants for carrying out their dream travels. If it is necessary to have a meeting in businesslike atmosphere there will be a special room Meeting point for this purpose.
In exhibition Balttour 2010, as well as in two next international tourism markets in Germany and Estonia, Vidzeme Tourism Association will present the opportunities of the region as a cycling tourism destination and will inform about the new cycling route Tour de LatEst that is created in collaboration with Estonian Latvian cross border cooperation program project Go Cycling Through Vidzeme and Southern Estonia.
The stand of Vidzeme Tourism Association this year will offer special activities to attract attendants in unusual and creative way. There will be Valmiermuiza beer degustation; everybody will be invited to create his own trip through GNP and Nothern Biosphere Park. There will be opportunity to receive the latest info from Vidzeme (Valka, Valmiera, Alūksne, Gulbene, Madona, Ogre, Sigulda, Salacgriva) TIC. A special lottery also is planned, where it will be possible to win trips and night stays for a nice weekend.
11th 24th of July this year will be an opening trip of the route Tour de LatEst that offers to know better both regions by cycling approximately 1000 km long distance. It will be possible to choose whether to go full route or only separate parts of it.
